KPRA Conducts Fourth Lucky Draw of Consumer Rewards Scheme in KP

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) held the fourth lucky draw of its Consumer Rewards Scheme on Thursday. The draw selected 50 winners through a computerized and transparent digital system.

Director General KPRA, Miss Irum Naz, presided over the event. Senior officials also attended the occasion, including Collector Sales Tax on Services Muhammad Abbas Khan, Director Legal, Tax Policy and Reforms Naimatullah, Director Administration, HR & Coordination Asma Khyber, Director Inquiry, Investigation & Tax Audit Pir Muhammad Mehsud, Director ICT Aftab Ahmad, and Director Finance Hina Hafeez.

KPRA used specially developed software for the draw. The system ensured a transparent selection process. Each winner will receive Rs10,000 through a cheque issued by KPRA.

KPRA launched the Consumer Rewards Scheme in February 2026. It currently covers selected hotels and restaurants in Peshawar, Mardan, Abbottabad, and Haripur. The authority has already held three draws under this scheme.

For the fourth draw, KPRA received 339 invoices from consumers between May 16 and June 15, 2026. Officials selected 50 winners through the computerized system.

DG KPRA Miss Irum Naz congratulated the winners. She said the scheme encourages citizens to demand proper tax invoices. She added that it also promotes tax compliance and transparency.

She further said the initiative helps reduce tax evasion. It also ensures that businesses deposit collected taxes into the government treasury.
