PESHAWAR – The Pakistan Aviation Authority (PAA) has commenced the process of acquiring land for the construction of an international Dera Ismail Khan Airport.
In a letter sent to the Deputy Commissioner of Dera Ismail Khan, the PAA has requested the acquisition of 1817 acres land in Mouza Yarak and Glutti.According to the letter, the Additional Director of State and Land Reclamation, Zahid Nasim, has issued directives to the Deputy Commissioner to take necessary action under Section 4 to ensure the acquisition of the land for Dera Ismail Khan. Airport.
The land is required for the construction of the Grand Field Airport, a project aimed at facilitating air travel in the region.The land acquisition process is a major step towards realizing the vision of a state-of-the-art Dera Ismail Khan Airport.
