Strategic Coordination and Public Advisory
According to the PDMA leadership, establishing a decentralized inventory of emergency supplies within high-risk districts remains a critical component of PDMA KP monsoon preparedness. The central authority instructed all district administrations to maintain full operational readiness, secure the storage facilities, and streamline rapid distribution mechanisms to assist affected populations immediately if a crisis hits.
Furthermore, PDMA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is maintaining continuous communication with the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), local administrative bodies, and line departments to track changing weather developments in real time.
The provincial authority issued a public safety advisory urging citizens to take necessary precautionary measures during monsoon spells, avoid unnecessary travel through vulnerable terrains, and strictly follow safety directives issued by the PDMA and local administrations during emergencies.
