Provincial authorities have finalized comprehensive preparations to manage possible flooding situations across the region. Officials directed all institutions to accelerate preemptive measures and maintain seamless coordination to protect lives and property.

Proactive Infrastructure and Rescue Operations
First, the administration launched a massive crackdown on encroachments to ensure the smooth flow of natural waterways. Specifically, authorities shared the following updates during the session:
- Encroachment Removal: Teams successfully recovered 703 kanals of land and demolished 227 illegal structures near riverbanks.
- Rescue Readiness: Rescue 1122 finalized emergency preparations in 17 sensitive districts.
- Technical Drills: The department decided to conduct mock drills to test the efficiency of response teams.
- Specialized Personnel: Expert swimmers will remain available 24/7 to strengthen the emergency response plan.

In addition, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) confirmed that its stock of relief goods is complete and ready for deployment. Specifically, the government is prioritizing technological interventions and public safety through the following steps:

- Public Awareness: The administration accelerated measures to keep the public informed about real-time weather updates.

- Supply Chain Security: Deputy Commissioners must ensure the stockpiling of essential commodities to prevent shortages during disasters.
