PESHAWAR – Aleema Khan, sister of the incarcerated PTI founder, Imran Khan, declared today that the party’s struggle has entered its “final phase.”
Speaking outside the court, she issued an ultimatum to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) office-bearers, demanding they exert pressure on the administration or resign. She stated:
“I have told the office-bearers to come here, sit down, and exert pressure. Otherwise, if they cannot handle the responsibility, they should obviously leave.”

The statement marks a shift in the party’s mobilization strategy. Addressing supporters who claimed they have stood by the party for three years, Khan urged them to transition toward full readiness. “You should come fully prepared,” she emphasized. She signaled that the party now expects an organized and consistent presence at judicial and political venues.

Khan also directed her message toward the police force. She claimed that law enforcement personnel share the party’s sentiments and urged officers to “stand with the truth” and the country. “Remember, the police are also with us,” she claimed. “When the time comes, they won’t attack anyone. InshaAllah, they will stand with the truth.”

The “Final Phase” Strategy
Aleema Khan framed the current political climate as a definitive “end time.” By linking the domestic struggle to nationalistic themes, she sought to frame the movement as a duty to the country. Khan’s comments put direct pressure on second-tier leaders to deliver results, even though similar calls had previously taken place.
The statement places the burden of performance on the party’s office-bearers. As the “final phase” begins, the PTI leadership must now decide whether to intensify their presence or face the consequences of Khan’s public demand for their resignation.
