Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ghazala Yasmeen has congratulated the faculty, staff and students of Women University Swabi on the institution’s latest recognition in the GreenMetric ranking.
She said the accomplishment reflects the collective hard work, dedication and commitment of the entire university community.

Following her message, it was noted that Women University Swabi secured the top position among women universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, marking a major achievement for the institution. The Vice Chancellor also appreciated Director QEC Dr. Suraya for her continuous efforts to strengthen the Quality Enhancement Cell and support sustainable development goals.

The university achieved 5th position among women universities in Pakistan and 7th position among all general universities in KP, further highlighting its progress in sustainability, academic practices and campus development. These improvements strengthen the university’s standing in the GreenMetric ranking.
According to the official website, WUS ranked 61st among all universities in Pakistan, 668th in Asia, and 1123rd globally. These results show the institution’s steady rise across provincial, national, regional and global levels.
