PESHAWAR: KPRA revenue collection for the financial year 2024-25 reached Rs51.56 billion. This exceeded the revenue goal of Rs47 billion set by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and marked a 37% growth compared to the previous year.
This strong performance reflects a 37% growth compared to the KPRA revenue collection in FY 2023-24.
According to KPRA’s media wing, the Authority collected Rs40.3 billion from the sales tax on services. It also generated Rs11.26 billion from the Infrastructure Development Cess (IDC). The continued focus on expanding the tax base proved instrumental in this growth. By the end of FY 2024-25, KPRA had increased its registered taxpayers to over 25,100.
