Russia’s Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said the US strike on Iran fails to achieve any of its objectives, as Iran’s nuclear fuel cycle remains fully intact despite the attack on its nuclear facilities.
In a strongly worded statement, Medvedev stated that the American strike caused only minor damage and failed to disrupt uranium enrichment in Iran. “The nuclear program continues, and Iran’s capabilities remain unaffected,” he said. “Many countries are even prepared to supply Iran with nuclear warheads now, which shows the global shift after this reckless action.”

Medvedev added that the Iranian government has not only survived the aggression but has become more unified and powerful. “Even those who once opposed the Supreme Leader are now participating in nationwide rallies to support him,” he noted.
He further warned that Israel remains under threat, with cities rocked by explosions and citizens living in fear and uncertainty. “This conflict has already expanded, and Israel is feeling the consequences.”
The Russian official stressed that the United States has been dragged into a new war, with a ground offensive now a serious risk. “Trump, once called the ‘President of Peace,’ has now led America into another conflict,” Medvedev said. “He should forget about the already tainted Nobel Peace Prize.”

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Moscow on his first international visit following the attack. During a meeting in the Russian capital today, President Vladimir Putin told Araghchi that the US strike on Iran fails to justify itself in any legal or moral framework.
President Putin called the aggression “baseless” and affirmed that Russia enjoys strong ties with Iran. “We will make every effort to help the Iranian people,” he said, reiterating Moscow’s stance against unilateral military action.
