Women University Swabi presents surplus budgets amid financial challenges

SWABiWomen University Swabi showcased fiscal strength and strategic planning during the 15th meeting of its Finance and Planning Committee (F&PC). 

Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Mian Sayed Khan chaired the session and led discussions with Registrar Raisa Bano, Treasurer Muhammad Hussain, and other committee members.

Treasurer Muhammad Hussain presented the revised budget for the current financial year 2024–25 and shared detailed projections for 2025–26. He explained that the university expects to receive Rs. 574.454 million in the current year while spending Rs. 496.104 million, generating a surplus of Rs. 78.350 million.  For 2025–26, he projected receipts of Rs. 649.351 million and expenditures of Rs. 647.862 million, estimating a surplus of Rs. 1.669 million.

Committee members reviewed each figure closely and praised the Treasurer and his team for their transparency and accuracy. They highlighted the clarity of the financial plan and endorsed both budgets for approval by the University Syndicate.

Women University Swabi continues to maintain financial discipline and demonstrate leadership in managing university resources effectively.
