FBR Issues One-Week POS Registration Deadline for Businesses

More than 10,000 Peshawar domiciles have been flagged as suspicious, prompting authorities to begin a verification process across the city and other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Officials are reviewing domiciles issued by various union councils, with particular attention to documents allegedly obtained for Afghan refugee students. The verification has also expanded to other districts and former tribal areas, according to government sources. Authorities have shared details of suspicious domiciles with law enforcement agencies for further scrutiny. Officials are also examining areas where people allegedly obtained Pakistani identity cards and passports through illegal means. These include Ghareebabad, Faqirabad, Latifabad, Zargharabad, University Road, Ring Road, Charsadda Road and other areas. Authorities said they would cancel any domicile found to be fake or illegally issued and take legal action against those involved.
