Enhancing police capabilities

IG Hameed highlighted that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police are receiving modern equipment, including anti-drone technology, to counter evolving terrorist tactics. Bulletproof vehicles are being provided for officers at all levels, from stations to leadership.

He noted that militants have changed their strategies this year, leading to an increase in attempted attacks. However, police successfully thwarted all recent assaults, maintaining public safety and preventing casualties.
