Peshawar — The peshawar safe city project is moving ahead quickly, bringing hope to residents who want safer streets and stronger security. With 125 high-resolution cameras being installed across key spots, the city is gearing up for a major upgrade in crime prevention.

Inspector General of Police Zulfiqar Hamid shared that the peshawar safe city project will be completed within six months, with cameras able to store footage for up to 30 days. This means quicker responses and better monitoring to keep Peshawar safe from terrorism, street crimes, and other threats.

The project isn’t just limited to Peshawar. Similar efforts are underway in districts like Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, and Lakki Marwat, where surveys are complete and camera installations are scheduled to start soon.
