PESHAWAR – Pashtun Qaumi Jirga: Health Department Sets Up Free Medical Campprovide medical care and ensure the well-being of attendees.
Health Advisor Ihtisham Ali personally visited the jirga on its first day, instructing District Health Officer Khyber, Dr. Zafar Ali Khan, and other officials to set up the free medical facility. Dr. Khan oversees the camp’s operations, ensuring seamless medical services.
On the second day of the jirga, over 4,500 participants underwent medical check-ups, receiving free medications and consultations. The health department also took preventive measures, such spraying anti-dengue chemicals within the venue to safeguard against vector-borne diseases.

The Pashtun Qaumi Jirga administrative team appreciated the health department’s initiative and expressed gratitude to Adviso and his team.To address potential emergencies, a referral mechanism has been established with nearby hospitals, including Jamrud Type-D Hospital and Hayatabad Medical Complex.
This ensures timely and efficient medical attention, if required.Advisor Ihtisham Ali emphasized that the health department’s primary objective is to ensure no participant faces health issues during the jirga. The free medical camp will remain operational until the event’s conclusion.
