The Chief Minister emphasized that he would not accept any lapse or negligence in protecting public lives and property.
Participants at the meeting undertook a comprehensive review of the security environment and counterterrorism measures. They also discussed specific arrangements to protect citizens. Furthermore, the CM issued additional instructions for well-coordinated security for religious gatherings during Ramazan. He directed authorities to use a result-oriented strategy to ensure they utilize available resources efficiently.

Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah and IGP Zulfiqar Hameed attended the session. They were joined by the Additional Chief Secretary Home and Additional Inspectors General for the CTD and Special Branch. He confirmed that officials are closely monitoring the situation.
Mr. Afridi condemned all forms of provocation or external aggression along the border. Additionally, the CM declared that protecting people in border areas remains the provincial government’s foremost priority.
