One Year On, No Progress On Climate Change Cell In KP Health Department

The KP e-governance system will fully replace paper use in all provincial government offices from 30 November. Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah announced the decision during a meeting on administrative reforms, confirming that summaries and notices have already been digitized under the new e-office setup.

He said the KP e-governance system will make administration faster, transparent, and more efficient. After 30 November, all departments will handle official communication only through digital means. Shah urged every department to complete the transition before the deadline to ensure smooth implementation of the paperless system.

Citizens can now submit complaints through social media

To improve public service delivery, the government has linked the KP e-governance system with social media. Citizens can now file complaints directly through platform X (formerly Twitter) by tagging @CSKPOfficial. The Chief Secretary said this will enhance accountability and ensure quick departmental responses to public issues.

Officials briefed the Chief Secretary that the anti-encroachment operation has reclaimed 1,024 kanals of state land, including 200 kanals recovered last week. Shah directed all district administrations to speed up recovery efforts and maintain strict action against land grabbers.

The meeting also reviewed the Peshawar beautification project led by the Peshawar Development Authority. Work continues on GT Road, Ring Road, and other areas under corporate social responsibility programs.

Officials further discussed the availability of wheat, flour, and vegetables. The Chief Secretary ordered consistent supply monitoring and strict measures against hoarding to stabilize market prices.
