PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa tourism flourished as over 652,000 visitors swarmed the province’s scenic destinations during the three-day Eid-ul-Adha holidays, the Tourism Authority reported. This surge highlights the growing popularity of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa tourism.
Galiyat led as a top destination, drawing 177,000 tourists, while Naran Kaghan welcomed 168,000, according to spokesperson Muhammad Saad. Malam Jabba attracted 160,000 visitors, and Upper Dir hosted 85,000, showcasing the diverse appeal of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa tourism hotspots.

Under the guidance of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Tourism Advisor Zahid Chan Zeb, the Tourism Authority ensured exceptional facilities. Enhanced lodging and transport services elevated the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa tourism experience for visitors.
Director General Habibullah Arif commended the Tourism Police for their stellar efforts. “Our officers worked diligently to ensure tourists’ safety and comfort,” he said, bolstering the reputation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the festive period.
The Tourism Authority’s 24/7 helpline (1422) remained active, promptly resolving visitor inquiries. This dedication to service solidified tourism as a traveler-friendly destination.
