Mega Plantation Event on March 23

The government plans a Mega Plantation Event for March 23. The goal is to plant more than one million trees in a single day. Officials want to ensure full participation from youth, students, and the general public. This event aims to turn tree planting into a collective national movement.

Chief Minister Sohail Afridi emphasized that forest growth is a top priority for the PTI government. He stated that effective policies have already significantly increased the province’s forest cover. The government is following a comprehensive strategy to improve the environment.

Afridi noted that forests are essential to fight growing environmental challenges. He urged the public to view plantation as a permanent national habit rather than a temporary task.
